September 2019 – Co-facilitating the Semi-Quantitative Risk Analysis (SQRA) Workshop for Taylor Draw Dam, Colorado
2019 - Reviewed the FERC Part 12 Inspection and Potential Failure Mode analysis for two dams of the Eugene Water and Electric Board as part of an ASDSO Peer Review Team.

2019 - Performed a partial SQRA of Lawn Lake Dam with Bill McCormick the Colorado Dam Safety Officer for a 2-hour ASDSO webinar using the Colorado’s risk-based Dam Safety Evaluation tool.
2019 - Attended a 3-day dam risk training course conducted by the Association of Environmental Engineering Geologists. This training included risk analysis workshop facilitation guidance.
2018- Participated in meetings with the US Army Corps of Engineers to develop Federal levee risk assessment guidelines.
2018 - Developed the Risk Analysis criteria component of the Department of the Interior Bureau Dam Safety Annual Program Performance Measurement tool.
2018 - Attended the 5-day Risk Best Practices Course conducted by the Bureau of Reclamation and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
2017 - Performed SQRA for flood risk for Glacier National Park following the Sprague Wildfire for the Department of the Interior Burned Area Emergency Response (BAER) Program.
2016 - Attended the Washington DC Levee System two-day Screening Level Risk Analysis Workshop conducted by the US Army Corps of Engineers. The system is owned and operated by the National Park Service.
2015-2017 Initiated and co-developed levee Semi-Quantitative Risk Screening Analysis methodology with HDR Engineering. Participated and occasionally co-facilitated risk analysis workshops for 8 National Park Service Levees.
2003 - 2010 Dam Safety Advisor Team member for the risk analyses for 110 Bureau of Indian Affairs Dams on Indian Reservations.
2014 Performed SQRAs for flood risk for 9 National Parks in the National Capital Region.
2013 Researched, wrote and produced a 14-minute film called Managing the Risks of Dams featuring the Lawn Lake Dam failure.
2012 - Wrote the NPS Dam Safety Reference Manual, including the chapter on Risk Analysis.
2003 to 2011 – One of two people who attended all 110 Reclamation Dam Safety Advisory Team Meetings to review the QRA Comprehensive Reviews of all of the Burau of Indian Affairs High hazard potential dams. Provided key inventory-wide quality assurance of the QRA risk products.
2008 Attended the 5-day Risk Best Practices Course conducted by the Bureau of Reclamation.
2003 – Worked with a team of Reclamation experts to develop a scaled down version of Reclamation’s QRA Comprehensive Review for the smaller Bureau of Indian Affairs Dams.
2002 – Wrote the Bureau of Indian Affairs Safety of Dams Handbook, including the chapter on risk analysis.
